Fatality Accident

On February 10, 2017 at 5:17 p.m., North Platte Rescue and Lincoln County Deputies were asked to respond to Hillcrest Estates, north of North Platte, NE. It was reported forty-three year old North Platte resident Antony Znaniecki was riding his dirt bike on private property and had an accident. Relatives of Mr. Znaniecki found him on the property unresponsive. Lifesaving attempts were employed by the family and neighbors until first responders arrived.

North Platte Rescue arrived and continued to care for Mr. Znaniecki, he was transported to Great Plains Health. Mr. Znaniecki succumbed to his injuries in the Emergency Room.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstructionist arrived on the scene and assisted Deputies identifying the cause of the accident. Deputies do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident. The investigation continues.
