Court House Placed on Lock Down

On March 10, 2017 around 8:30 a.m., Deputies were called to the Lincoln County Court House. Employees of the Courthouse advised a male subject was very emotional and threatening to harm or shoot the first law enforcement officer he found. Because of the size of the Courthouse responding Deputies did not immediately locate the subject and he left the building.

Deputies later made contact with the mentally ill subject at a local gas station. He was placed in protective custody without incident.
