The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center is taking applications for the position of Male Detention Officer. This position has a starting salary range of $16.02 – $20.14 per hour depending on experience and a generous benefit package to include paid Vacation, paid Sick Leave, Nebraska State Retirement, and 100% paid employee health insurance.

Recently two of our male Detention Officers were hired to become Police Officers. The Sheriff’s Office has eleven Deputy Sheriff’s (Including the Sheriff and Chief Deputy), countless Police Officers and State Troopers that began their law enforcement career working in the Lincoln County Detention Center.
