North Platte Man Arrested for Distribution

On June 27, 2016 at 00:10 am, a Deputy found a teenage girl outside the Sheriff’s Office. The girl was partially clothed and appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance. The Deputy began to question the girl and she attempted to flee. She was detained and taken inside the Sheriff’s Office for an assessment.

Deputies interviewed her and gave her clothing. The girl advised she had purchased Acid or LSD earlier and took it. Soon after the admission the girl became violent and was transported to Great Plains Health by North Platte Rescue.
Deputies began to investigate the incident and found two other female juveniles had purchased and consumed a substance from a male individual in North Platte. The other juveniles both claimed it was Acid or LSD.

Investigators with the Sheriff’s Office determined the location of the suspect male to be 1010 West 3rd Street in North Platte, NE. Investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence and executed it at 10:45 a.m. Deputies arrested the male subject and he was identified as twenty-one year old Nathan C. Moon of North Platte, NE.

Mr. Moon was transported to the Lincoln County Detention Center and incarcerated for: Three Counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance (LSD) and Three Counts of Felony Child Abuse. Further investigation and charges are pending.
