Superintendent Arrested Again….
On June 15, 2017 at 2:28 a.m., the Lincoln County 911 Center received a report from Hershey, NE. of a man with a gun threatening people. Deputies were responded to the 700 block of West Second Street in Hershey, NE. A female reported her boyfriend assaulted her and was pointing a shotgun at another subject. The two victims were able to flee the scene prior to Deputies arriving.
Deputies spoke with the reported gunman on the phone; he was identified as fifty year old Hershey resident Ronnie Stewart Jr. Mr. Stewart was asked to come outside the residence, he was detained. Deputies searched the residence for any other subjects or victims. Inside the residence, Deputies observed items related to drug paraphernalia and several firearms. Deputies found that two of the firearms were reported stolen at an earlier date.
Mr. Stewart was arrested for Domestic Assault 3rd Degree, Terroristic Threats, Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony and Possession of a Stolen Firearm. Mr. Stewart was incarcerated in the Lincoln County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
