Fatality Accident

On May 2, 2020 at 3:50 p.m., Deputies were asked to respond to a single vehicle accident at mile marker 90 on U.S. Highway 83 (about 5 miles north of North Platte, NE.). Deputies discovered a Ram pickup truck was southbound on the roadway pulling a bumper pull camper. The vehicle had left the roadway and rolled over at least one time.

All four occupants in the vehicle were injured, three of the passengers all sustained non-life threatening injuries and were treated at Great Plains Health. The driver sixty-four year old Susan Wong of Spokane, WA., sustained life threatening injuries and died at Great Plains Health. Drugs and Alcohol were not a factor in the incident.
