Deputies Solve Burglary

On July 24, 2021, Deputies met with a Lincoln County resident about a Burglary complaint south of Maxwell, NE. The resident provided information in the case and Deputies learned approximately $11,000.00 in jewelry was stolen from their home.

Deputies met with a local jeweler who purchased items matching the stolen jewelry from twenty-eight year old Kaitlyn Blaesi of North Platte, NE. Both the jeweler and victim knew Ms. Blaesi for years.

Deputies interviewed Ms. Blaesi at length and she admitted to taking and selling the items. Ms. Blaesi was incarcerated in the Lincoln County Detention Center, charged with Burglary. A majority of the jewelry was recovered and eventually will be returned to the victim.
