Fatality Accident

On February 18, 2016 at 3:50 pm, Deputies were called to a one vehicle motorcycle accident approximately four miles west of Banner Road on Ft. McPherson Road (southwest of Brady, Nebraska). Subjects reported the lone male occupant was unconscious and not breathing. Upon arrival Deputies found seventy one year old Gothenburg resident Russell Huff deceased.

An accident Reconstructionist from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate. Preliminary reports indicate Mr. Huff’s motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Ft. McPherson Road approaching a corner. On the corner Mr. Huff lost control of the motorcycle and went into the ditch. A citizen passing by found Mr. Huff and contacted Law Enforcement.

Mr. Huff was wearing helmet at the time of the accident. Drugs and alcohol were not suspected cause of the accident. Investigation continues.
