Rollover Accident

On October 20, 2020 at 1:55 a.m., the Lincoln County 911 Center received a report of a potential rollover accident in Hershey, NE. The accident was reported to be on the Link 56 C overpass. Deputies and first responders arrived and found the lone driver of the vehicle to be twenty-one year old Lyle Harms of Ogallala.

Mr. Harms advised he was southbound on Link 56 C and struck the curb, this caused him to overcorrect and leave the roadway, rolling several times. Evidence at the scene supported Mr. Harm’s story. Mr. Harms refused medical treatment at the scene.

Mr. Harms showed signs of alcohol impairment and was tested. Mr. Harms was arrested and taken to the Lincoln County Detention Center. Mr. Harms could not be housed at the Detention Center because of his potential injuries. Deputies took Mr. Harms to Great Plains Health, he was issued a citation for Driving Under the Influence and released.
