Brothers Arrested for Assault and Child Abuse

On July 8, 2016 at 3:10 a.m., Deputies were asked to respond to 334 Sunset Street in Hershey, NE. It was reported that a male subject had been assaulted by two individuals.

Deputies arrived and met with the victim who was injured, but his wounds did not appear life threatening. The victim said he was assaulted by family members. The victim advised he was punched and kicked in the face multiple times while holding his two infant children. The victim identified his attackers as brothers: thirty-four year old Hershey, NE. resident Clemente Carrizales and thirty-seven year old Ogallala, NE. resident Domingo Carrizales.

Witnesses advised the two Carrizales left driving westbound on U.S. Highway 30. The vehicle was stopped by Ogallala Police Department and both men were taken into custody. Also driving the vehicle was an intoxicated sixteen year old male.

Deputies met with Keith County Law enforcement and transported both Carrizales to the Lincoln County Detention Center. Both Carrizales were charged with two counts of Felony Child Abuse, Third Degree Assault and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. The investigation continues.
