Sutherland Man Arrested for Slashing Tires

On February 11, 2017 Sutherland Village Board Member Ray Ravenscroft reported two of his personal vehicles had slashed tires.   The Deputy investigated the incident and determined the tires were damaged by a sharp instrument.

The Deputy continued to investigate the matter for a couple of weeks and determined thirty-four year old Bruce Boggs of Sutherland, NE. was a suspect in the case. Mr. Boggs is the husband of a former clerk for the Village of Sutherland.  The Deputy met with Mr. Boggs at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and issued him a citation for Criminal Mischief to Mr. Ravenscroft’s vehicles.
