Suspicious Vehicle Leads to Arrest

On January 23, 2019 at 2:10 a.m., a Deputy checked a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of Dodge Hill, just south of North Platte, NE. The Deputy met with the three occupants of the vehicle and found two were young juveniles. The adult male was identified as twenty-three year old Tristyn Jefferson and he was partially disrobed.

Mr. Jefferson was detained while the Deputy questioned the juveniles about being out at the location with Mr. Jefferson. Mr. Jefferson was eventually arrested and taken to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office for further questioning. The Juveniles were placed into emergency protective custody.

Deputies eventually incarcerated Mr. Jefferson for 1st Degree Sexual Assault, Possession of Child Pornography and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. The case is still under investigation and additional charges may follow.
