Maxwell Man Arrested for Methamphetamine


On April 12, 2021 a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy made a traffic stop on a Chrysler sedan near Lee Bird Field just east of North Platte, NE. The Deputy stopped the vehicle for having Fictitious License Plates. The driver of the vehicle was identified by his valid Nebraska Drivers License as thirty-five year old Daniel Endicott of Maxwell, NE.

While speaking with Mr. Endicott the Deputy observed several indicators of drug activity. The Deputy deployed the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detection Dog, Bella, who indicated narcotics were in the vehicle.

Mr. Endicott’s vehicle was searched and Deputies located at least four grams of suspected Methamphetamine, multiple glass pipes, baggies and a digital scale. Mr. Endicott was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute and placed in the Lincoln County Detention Center. Mr. Endicott’s vehicle was seized as well. The investigation in this matter is ongoing.
