Accident Leaves Hershey Man in Critical Condition

On August 15th, 2022, at 7:52 p.m. the Lincoln County 911 Center received a report of a one vehicle, injury accident in the 3600 block of West North River Road. Deputies and North Platte Fire and Rescue arrived and found the lone male driver in critical condition.

Deputies and EMS removed the driver, and he was transported to Great Plains Health. The Driver was identified as twenty-six-year-old Hershey resident, Dru Linderman.

Preliminary investigation showed the vehicle was traveling westbound on North River Road. The vehicle left the road and traveled into the south ditch striking a tree. Drugs and Alcohol do not appear to be a factor. Investigation is ongoing.
